6th form students from Dartford Grammar School for Girls were proud to accept the prize for the winning company 2016 sponsored by The Rotary Club of Gravesend & Meopham. The event took place on the 18th April at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford. The company have already generated a net profit of £370 so far by selling hoodies for school trips & running a disco for year 8’s. They also supported the music department at the spring concert and received payment for their services.
The judging panel had 3 companies to interview at their trade stand after reviewing a company report and finally decided on the winner after a 4 minute presentation by 4 members of the company. Alan Ridgers, Rotary Club of Gravesend & Meopham – www.rotary-ribi.org , Jan Fenning, Licence to Success – www.licencetosuccess.co.uk & Deborah Turner, You Image Consultancy -www.youimageconsultancy.co.uk had a difficult job selecting the winner but were impressed with the confidence of the students.
Several other awards were presented to the 3 companies on the night which included Carter & Co from Dartford Grammar School for Girls & Empire from Wilmington Grammar School 6th form

Zeus will now go to the Kent & Medway final on the 4th May at Oakwood House, Maidstone and represent the North West Area Board.
